How We Met
What started as a simple apple-picking outing turned into the beginning of something truly special. Neither of us realized it then, but there was an immediate connection—so much so that our mutual friend, who invited us both, kept asking if we already knew each other! We clicked right away, and that spark quickly grew into a strong friendship—one that has only deepened over time and blossomed into a lasting love. Today, we’re not just partners—we’re each other’s best friend, forever.
The Proposal
The proposal marked a beautiful milestone in this love story. Chris planned a weekend getaway to the family beach house, complete with a special dinner at Matunuck Oyster Bar. Determined to keep the surprise under wraps, he playfully dropped hints to make Shelbi believe it was simply a sweet date night—though the suspense nearly got the best of her. After a delicious meal filled with nervous laughter and tender glances, Chris proposed on the beach with the most breathtaking sunset as their witness. It was everything they had dreamed of and a night they will cherish for all the years to come.
